Starparty
Image the same target together, then put everyone's light into one picture. Coming soon.
What it is
A Starparty is a group imaging event or project. A host picks a target and a window of nights; everyone who joins images it with whatever they have, from a Seestar on a balcony to an observatory under a dark sky, and uploads their session.
Then the group stacks it together: many small telescopes, many nights and many skies become one deep picture none of us could make alone, with every contributor credited.
How it will work
- A host creates an event: the target, the dates, who can join.
- Members upload their stack (subs later) to the event, under the same storage and licences as any photo.
- The group talks it through in its own thread, and downloads every submission in one go.
- The co-stack happens in Astro Sidekick, and the results go up in the event's gallery.
We are building Starbook's foundations first. Starparty comes after the public launch.
